Radio (non-)Conference#2_athens

Broadcasting from ONASIS AiR, live on Stegi Radio + reboot.fm, June 1st 2024, 11-19h, Athens, Greece.

The second Radio (non-)Conference tunes into multiple histories, narratives and bodies from Athens, branching out to the Mediterranean area. Connecting audiences, spaces and voices from different times and places, we form a translocal community that disobeys the categories of national, international, central and peripheral.

We gather at Onassis AiR and transform it into a temporary radio station. The audience is invited to listen to the live broadcast on stegi.radio (online from Athens) and reboot.fm (Berlin, Potsdam & online). The full-day programme includes a variety of formats such as: radiophonic movement workshop, lecture performances, radiophonic ritual, live performance, sonic archives, readings, discussions and more. Stay tuned.

Conceived, curated and moderated by Netta Weiser and Anna Leon. Produced by Nikki Georgiou and STRGI RADIO.

Radio (non-)Conference#2_Athens is a collaboration between Stegi Radio and Radio-Choreography within the framework of SOUNDS NOW network, co-funded by Creative Europe program of the European Union.
